Tipper Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) posted three pictures of mockup units for each of the four iPhone 16 series models on X (formerly Twitter). These pictures aid in illustrating some of the modifications that will be madewith  to Apple’s upcoming smartphone lineup, such as the altered rear camera configurations of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

Previous rumors indicate that Apple would ditch the diagonal rear camera system debuted with the iPhone 13 and instead equip the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 models with a vertically aligned camera layout.

Meanwhile, proponents also assert that the iPhone 16 series will feature a dedicated capture button, allowing users to quickly snap pictures. The final image with the dummy units confirms that the new button is located on the right side of the phone, as previously leaked.
