After being out from international cricket for over a year, Jofra Archer has been added to England’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Since his last England appearance in March 2023, he’s been recovering from an elbow injury, sidelining him for almost a year.
Archer has faced several challenges on his journey back since 2021, such as stress fractures, ongoing elbow issues, and even surgery following a bizarre fish tank mishap.
Despite recent absence, Chris Jordan secured squad spot after his 2023 appearance, highlighting his value as a seasoned all-rounder.
Buttler leads batting; Jacks, Salt, Bairstow vie for top spot.
In addition to seasoned all-rounder Moeen Ali, Ben Duckett will provide some versatility to the team as a left-hander.
Adil Rashid leads spin with Tom Hartley; Brook, Livingstone, Curran bolster order.
